Barry Sonnenfeld is known for his fantastic work in Men in Black and the episodic series A Series of Unfortunate Events, and he adapted The Addams Family with all of his creation as a debut project. Hunt for the Wilderpeople is an adventure comedy-drama movie directed and written by Taika Waititi. The film is based on the book Wild Pork and Watercress by author Barry Crump.
The movie premiered on 22 January 2016 at Sundance Film Festival 2016. Hunt for the Wilderpeople received many critical acclaims and was praised for the chemistry of Neill and Dennison. The plot revolves around a juvenile delinquent, Ricky Baker, who is abandoned by his mother. He was later adopted by a couple of Bella and Hec Faulkner. Bella connects with Ricky very efficiently, and they start sharing a good bond, but unfortunately, Bella dies. Hec said to Ricky that the welfare officers of child service would take him back. The news shook Rick, and he faked his death by running away into the burning barn.
The movie is whimsical, terrifying, and delightful artwork by Waititi, filing the whole thing out for good measure. Hunt for the Wilderpeople will put you in a good mood.
Coneheads
Conehead is an American science fiction movie directed by Steve Barron and produced by Lorne Michaels. The movie is based on the comedy sketches show Saturday Night Live on NBC.
The plot revolves around some aliens who have coneheads. The story starts with the American Airscape discovering UFOs and sends the National Guard to investigate. Because of activating the cloaking device late, the spaceship crashes into the ocean Atlantic, near Manhattan. The aliens, Beldar Clorhone and his mate Prymaat survive and adapt to human life.
Conehead stars Jane Curtin, Michelle Burke, and Dan Aykroyd. Aykroyd is known for his performances in the comedy show Saturday Night Live (SNL). He was hired as a writer for the show and was paid $278 a week, but became a part of the cast later. He brought his unique sensibility, unusual interests, and lunatic intensity to the show.
Pineapple Express
Pineapple Express is a buddy stoner comedy action movie written by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen and directed by David Gordon Green. The film stars James Franco and Seth Rogen.
The plot of Pineapple Express centers around a process server and a dealer of marijuana as they are forced to flee from a corrupt police officer and a hitman. The film was released on 6 August 2008 by Columbia Pictures and collected a gross of over $102 million worldwide against a budget of $26 million.
