If you feel that your family is highly prone to recurring conflicts, cast some attention towards the Netflix show Ozark and you are bound to feel a sense of relief. Creative work of Bill Dubuque and Mark William, Ozark is a well-known American series falling within the crime drama genre. The first episode ever was released on 12th of July, 2017, the second season dropped on 31st of August 2018 and the third season premiered on 27th of March this year. The success of the three seasons is immense, and the audiences cannot wait for season four anymore. Netflix has officially announced that there will be a fourth season and they will not leave their loyal audience high and dry. But to the disappointment of everyone, season four will also be the last. The season is to have 14 episodes but will be launched in 2 separate sets.
The team has remained tight-lipped about the possible casting for season four, but it is safe to say that the primary cast members will have to be recast. Jason Bateman in the role of Marty Byrde, Laura Linney as Wendy Byrde, Sofia Hublitz playing the part of Charlotte Byrde and Skylar Gaertner as Jonah Byrde). Season three ended with Marty and Wendy working in close alliance with Navarro Cartel. The Byrde family deals with such high maladjustment that it will nearly remind you of the movie “The Godfather”. The fourth season may give us all a deeper glimpse of Wendy’s decision to let Ben (her brother) die. We learn how it has an impact on the entire family, chiefly keeping in mind that Jonah Byrde did not take his uncle’s death very well.
Mundy, in his interview with EW, disclosed that he assumes the season will deal with whether or not Ruth is capable of making something according to her needs. He also speculated that Byrdes will make an attempt to turn their largest blunder ever into a colossal trump card before karma wins the race and gets a hold of them.
The season four is supposed to be the last in the series, and hence it is burdened with the responsibility of explaining a lot of suspense created by the preceding seasons. The last season will be a bomb-sized entertainment for sure, and since it will be split in two, we might get to witness a mid-season finale and then a grand finale episode. Hopefully, all of you are braced to absorb some real gut-punches because this will definitely not be a smooth journey.
