Rogue Legacy 2 Delayed for One Month

If you have been waiting for Rogue Legacy 2, then you have to wait a little more. Cellar Door games have decided to delay its release (early access release) for one month.

Release of the Rogue Legacy 2 has been delayed by the developers of the game. The game was all set to release this month on the Epic Games Store and Steam. But now it will release on 18th August on these platforms.

On April 1, 2020, the developers of the game (Epic Games store) had announced that they were going to release the game for early access in July. But most people were thinking that the company was lying, and it was some prank or joke. However, they ended all the speculations and doubts by confirming it was not a prank or joke, and the game will be released for early access in July, and now its release has been postponed for one month.

The mechanics of the game are similar to Roguelike (predecessor of the game). For example, like Roguelike, you can continue to play the game as the successor of your character once it dies, which will inherit skills and traits from its predecessor. Additionally, the developers have also brought back the composers who had composed the soundtrack of Roguelike for composing the soundtrack for Rogue Legacy 2.

The game was going to release on July 23, 2020. But now it will release in August. According to developers of the game, delay in the game’s release will give them some time to add new features that have been delayed for a long time and will also allow them to fix any significant performance issues of the game.

Rogue Legacy 2 is not the only game that has been rescheduled this year; games like Ghost of Tsushima, Destiny 2: Beyond Light Expansion have also been rescheduled for release due to the Coronavirus epidemic. The Coronavirus epidemic has been creating many big hurdles for the developers this year due to which they are facing many problems in the development process of their games while ensuring the protection of their employees.

Wrapping it up

Developers of games are trying very hard to avoid the rescheduling of their games. But with reduced staff, they are facing many problems in the development process of their games. However, they are trying hard to remove these hurdles so that they can meet their deadlines and also keep their employees protected from the Coronavirus

Besides, these delays in release dates of the games have also given developers time for further enhancing their game performance and an opportunity to add some new features in them.
