Check the Settings of Game Bar


Follow these steps:

  1. Firstly, you should launch the Xbox application on your system.

  2. After that, log in.

  3. Click on the Settings button.

  4. Then click on the Game DVR option.

  5. You should choose the option of ‘Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR.’

  6. In case the option is disabled, then enable it.

  7. Later, close the Xbox application and reboot the system.

  8. Now, hold the Windows and G keys to launch the Xbox Game Bar.

Edit the Registry


Follow these steps given here:

  1. Press Windows + R keys to open the Run section.

  2. After that, enter the following command: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR

  3. You should select DWORD of ‘AppCaptureEnabled’ and right-click on it.

  4. Choose the Modify option.

  5. In case the value of DWORDS is 0, then input 1 into the Value Data text section.

  6. Now, go to GameConfigStore.

  7. Later, go to the DWORD of ‘GameDVR_Enabled’ and right-click on it.

  8. Click on Modify.

  9. You have to input 1 into the value data text section.

  10. Now, reboot the system.

Install the Xbox Application Again


You should follow these directions given below:

  1. Hold the Windows and S keys to access search.

  2. After that, input ‘PowerShell’ into it and select the OK button.

  3. Scroll to the ‘Windows PowerShell’ option and right-click on it.

  4. Click on  ‘Run as administrator.

  5. Now, run this command: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxApp | Remove-AppxPackage

Disable Game Bar and Enable it Again


You should follow these directions given below:

  1. Hold the Windows and I keys together to launch Settings.

  2. When the Settings app appears on the screen, go to the section of Gaming.

  3. Now, find the option of ‘Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar,’ turn it off, and then wait for a while and enable it again.
